Beware the Xerox at Design

URGH!! A NOTE TO ALL TP STUDENTS! BEWARE THE XEROX PRINTING SHOP AT DESIGN!

I should have taken Tessa's Advice, but, yes my thumbdrive's CCP file just got infected with a virus after I printed a project from Xerox. Now my com's virus detecter has put it under quarrantine and i can't access my CCP file! Major Bummer! I don't think it's all the Coms that have been affected, only that particular one. So... be careful when u go there to print ur documents. As much as possible, prevent printing from the second Com on the right. Apparently that is where many of our thumbies got infected.

So, i'm praying that God would somehow remove the virus! CCP is important to me! *SNIFFLE*

Final Ad Design

I've finally gotten out a design that i feel extremely happy with. It's not perfect, but well, it'll do. Especially with My previous design being a tad boring, and my deadline being 5pm today. As a matter of fact, i'm quite suprised at how someone as lazy and messy as me could always be so picky about report designs and powerpoint presentations.

Anyways, i can only say that the final Ad was an inspiration of sorts. And i can only thank God for the idea He put into my head. And of course Tessa, and Stanley who put in their bits of improvement advice.

Officially almost everyone in our entire project group(with the execption of stanley whos not in our group) has a nickname.

and the rest of us have unconfirmed nicknames. Muahahahhaa! I'm quite inclined to call myself the goldfish and moo moo cow.... ut i'll keep mum. At any rate, i'm really tempted to get the iPod Classic, going for $398 for 120GB worth of space! ITS SO EPIC!

Also I think recently, my style of singing and guitar playing has changed alot since the beginning of this year. My strumming has become less 'harsh' more fluid, my rhythms have taken different forms for different songs, and my voice has becme slightly more mature(i think). But i'm still pretty far from my dream of going global one day with my songs. But i guess waiting would have its benefits. I mean, i don't think anybody would want to listen to me sing in my current state. haha!
And, i realise my accent has become increasingly Singaporeanish. My sister used to claim i spoke with an accent. But i thin k my brand of english has been singaporeanised as well. Even more my writing style. I keep using phrases like "And, Then, Even as," I mean, isn't there a better way to improve my english? Im not saying the Singaporeanish Accent and brand of english is bad, but I just miss my 'ex better formed' english. i'm really using a whole lot of singlish phrases now, hahahaha! its so SUB CONCIOUS! In secondary school i don't remember using as much singlish as I do now.... hahahahas! oh well, i am Singaporean after all. And I guess it is fun to have our own interesting brand of English no?
but i'm still gonna try and work on it.
Talking about language, I have to brush up my Japanese too! I want to start learning it in teh Japanese School, but i do know basic conversational Japanese, and I have to practice! (:

TENSE NECK AND SHOULDER

When I next get my chance, i am going to grab the longest sleep I have ever gotten! For all it's worth, during this period the one thing I truly need is SLEEP! Why I sleep so late? bad time management. I should look into getting that checked... My neck is aching like crazy now... shucks

Johann is stressing us now! haha. okay. so he says we should relax. BUT, i still have to submit my crosstabs by tonight. And Vilvian claims that we can never really relax, cuz he doesn't really mean it. Oh well, if it makes me feel any better i'll eat cheese fries for dinner tonight.

Urgh. Even though SPSS is like the most awesome market research tool anoyone can find, staring at it for 3 nights in a row is no joke! ask vil, she understands. Besides, the MBS class later is gonna be a mock test, and i don't really remember half of what I learnt the week before. Its all a litlle FUZZY of sorts.

Anyways, i have a few more things on the list to do.

1. Submit my CCP Individual Journal by tomorrow, 5pm

2. I have my basic entrepreneurship due on Friday

3. My FAOM(Financial Aspects of Marketing) due next Thursday the 16th July

And so as they say "alls well ends well.."

Did i mention that i have my end semester tests coming up in early part of August? No doubt i get a longer holiday than the rest of Business School, but still! Oh the nerve prickling. But still, i realise that after i cleared my table yesterday, my mind is all of a sudden set for studying. Weird eh?

Anyways, I'm just blabbering a whole lot of who knows what. But I really want to say thet God is so Awesome! Our Consumer Behaviour Project is almost fully done. and we have abt 3 more projects due!

URGH... My eyes feel like popping out of their sockets. I finally finished all thats needed to be done by tomorrow and my brain juice is just about used up. *squish squish*. Anyways, i'd better get some rest, its awfully tiring having to stay awake so late.

Awesomeness doesn't quite cut it

Today was absolutely nerve wrecking!

Gist of the story:

• i was sick and on mc for a good 6 to 7 days last week.
• i missed the deadline for my Individual Journal for Consumer Behaviour
• I only found out the deadline this morning as i was printing my CB notes.
• Consequence?: I had to look for my tutor to ask if i could still hand it in.
• So I prayed really really hard! for favor from my lecturer.
• Result?: She allowed me to hand it in! Moreover, she gave me till friday!
• So... AWESOME RIGHT? WAY MORE THAN AWESOME! God is totally awesomely GOOD!

Anyways, im trying to do up the recommendations for my project and edit my Individual Journal. And I got this new plain blog idea from VILVIAN! Awesome class/group mate and friend.

And, I've been trying to do something really nice to get youths to support the Youth Olympics Singapore. So far i've come up with this(below) and a skateboarder one... but my sister feels that its not attractive enough, in the sense that it won't attract your attention, so im still working on it! If any of you have suggestions please do give feedback!

Anyways, i'm blogging to relieve abit of stress. I'm gonna ('CHIONG') rush everything out and slog soon!
