HEADACHES

I've got a really bad headache.. I mean like pretty bad. I suddenly had this whole tension on my shoulders and my head started to feel woozy. haha! and i bet its not due to the excessive korean dramas BECAUSE i have not been watching it for awhile.

Its all that bidding website's fault, hahahahah! i was so stressed out about winning the iPhone. Didn't win it in the end, so.. Oh well. But besides that everything is going great! Youth Camp is next week. And so are my mid sems. I don't feel bummed at all, and my life is less than perfect but i still love it.

Have i mentioned that i have not been getting inspiration for songs lately? I guess thats the part that i'm sort of stressed out about. But as my little sister always reminds me, "WHY DONT YOU WAIT ON GOD FIRST LAH"

PHOTO CRAZY

Im on a little photo craze right now. Love taking out my camera and just snapping picture after picture! PLUS. I really love the Korean Drama Series You're Beautiful. Must be because of all the songs. They are pretty nice. But oh well, its all nadia's fault anyways, getting me started on it.

Come to think of it, I have not been watching my anime for awhile. But i dont really have time to do it anyway.. Since Mid Sems are coming really really soon.

Come to think of it, does Singapore sell celebrity POGS? I don't think there is... hahaha..

Hey well. Sherrie and Shawn got married on saturday. It was just so awesome! Pretty flowers and full of photo opportunities. God's Presence was there too! Beautiful! ;)

At any rate, I am actually feeling very relaxed this semester. Although, i am reaching my third year next April, i am still quite certain, about an uncertain-ess in a sense. Confusing?

I know what I want to do in the future, with my life. But i'm not sure if that is what God wants me to do. But that doesn't keep me from dreaming. And. I'm not really concerned if i get what i want or not. Not that i don't strongly believe in what i want to do, but i guess i have learnt that God's way is the best way. Makes sense? Maybe to you it may not. But to me, having gone through what i have, i believe it!

Honestly?

I never chose to get into my current course. How i got here? Who knows. it was my 5th choice. Not that I chose it. My mum just sorta slot it into my choices. But now here i am 2 years later, and I am having the time of my life.

Marketing is just what i was geared up to do. It was right up my alley.

And anyway. I have no reason why i put the title as such. My thoughts are random as it is, So. Pardon Me.

Strum doodly dum

Recently i have been playing my 'best friend the acoustic guitar' more regularly. And my strming patterns are kind of going abit crazy[in a good way] :D like i can strum up and down simultaneously and very quickly for a long period of time.. =O Its really starting to get interestingly fun! Even wounded my finger because of it.

Oh wells. I enjoy it at any rate! =) Awesomeness.

Misunderstandings, Misinterpretations

Ah. Misunderstandings are scary creatures.
They can make or break a friendship. and Very often come with Misinterpretations. The result the is manifested is usually due to a perception. And since no one likes to take the blame, fingers start pointing.

I guess i don't like misunderstandings at all. If not handled with care, carries potential for disaster. And that gets everyone upset.

I shan't elaborate any further. But at any point, I think no one is right in the situation that has occured and i shall not dwell on it.

Epic-ly Taiwan

So this post took me awhile to post up. was absolutely busy with my taiwan video that i just had no time! I really miss Taiwan at any rate. Can't wait to breathe the air there again! Absolutely Thrilling. And i took most of my shots with my faithful 5 year old Canon Digi. Some were taken using Qi Rong's Nikon. But thats besidesthe point;)

So who says little cammies can't take good photos?

I absolutely believe that how photos turn out depend more on the photographer than the camera.

Well.. There's just so much to talk about.. like the things that happened on the trip. And like how Taiwan has awesome skies, and is prettily photogenic in every sense.

And after catching a few more episodes of Fun Taiwan evey Friday and Saturday, my urge to 'return' to taiwan grows even stronger!

What I think of Taiwan?

one word. Awesome.

Yeah! I just love the Taiwanese people, the AIR is somehow easier to breathe. everything helps to relax my mind, and did i mention that the trains are awfully QUIET? You absolutely cannot hear the train running against the tracks. I'm serious! Maybe it's the fact that my breath was taken away by the scene flying past outside the train, but it's really quiet!

When you do notice, you'd actually realise that most of the towns are built into the hills and nature is not really very far from sight. What can I say?

FOOD, PEOPLE, LOADS OF STUFF. I'm happy. =)

And. I can go crazy with my camera!

Good Days and.. Good Days

This week was so absolutely totally packed.
Helped Pastor do up a flyer for a meeting, helped aunty Jo with chinese book sales at SJI (junior) on wed and thurs and had a TRP BBQ. Next week i'll be at Crusade's E-Camp for almost the whole week, and the week after that i'll be in Taiwan (taipei) for my study trip.

On a whole it has been absolutely amazing. I even managed to spend some time working out abit. And catch a few movies. G-Force(Totally Cute) and Gamer(Totally Sick. And i mean SICK; thus M18)
Cant wait to catch Fame and Time Travellers Wife though. Two movies im really looking forward to.

anyways, the strip at the bottom shows Hilary's Keyboard hands, my Dad's Bass and the drums at THOP. Sorta tweaked it a littlew to make it look sort of... im not sure what..

Come What May

"If you do not believe that an unborn baby is a gift from God, you will do nothing to protect it."

That was the phrase that really captured my attention in the movie Come What May; a movie about doing the right thing.
There is a Latin phrase that goes like this, "FIAT JUSTICIA ET PEREAT MUNDUS". It means, Do the right thing, Come what may.
And the show really reminded me, that doing the right thing, is never easy. But it is always worth it.

The show revolves around a commonly debated phrase "When does life truly begin?"
At conception? At birth? or is it when a heartbeat is detected?
People often ask this question, for the simple fact that many try to justify Abortion. So they try to define when life begins, to prove that Abortion is not murder. But if you were to try to debate this from the point that stands at Conception, one is bound to be on the losing end.
I won't try to start a debate discussion here, but the point being, if you know that the very miracle of a child even having the possibility of being concieved, is a gift from God, then why kill and destroy what God has given?
Even if it were to be born deformed? Mentally Unstable? Bound to experience over bearing suffering in its living? Who are we to act the hand of God to take life away?

OH YEAH!

Heh. With anticipation the whole teamsek Polytechnic (except the designers) waited for the release of their semester results and I thank God for mine! Whee!
I expected to do with a few Cs and Bs, but i got 3 Bs, 1 B+ and an A! unexpectedly though, i got a C+ for Public Speaking. I was really expecting to do well... ARGH..
Anyway, this sem's results really managed to pull up my GPA to a 2.9! So im really confident that by the end of my third year, i'll be able to reach 3.5 min.! YAY!

Really fun playing bball with Abigail and her friends yesterday.. It has been so long!! Found a new BBall BUDDY! =D YAYAYAYAYAYYAAY!

I really cant wait to go to Taiwan!!
I'll buy u guys stuff! HEH HEH!!

The Holidays are so close!! But yet so far. WHY? Because of MBS.URGH.
CCP test was absolutely fun today. The troupe then went to Pasir Ris together to book the chalet for our class outing. Hohohoho.. We went absolutely crazy today. BUT IT WAS SO HOT! ARGH! But PRAISE GOD! just one paper (thats two weeks away) to go! GANBATTE

At any rate, I'm supposed to be studying for CCP now. But i'm chilling for abit so... HEH. Anyways, We MARKETING PEEPS crashed the Business MBS lecture today cuz it somehow made more sense to go for today's slot than wait for tomorrow's. Then when Ms Norshida was going through the Exam Paper, Vil and I were happily taking photos with her MAC! And she said i look like i'm part of the MAFIA when i was wearing the shades. Also realizing that MKT students totally rock cuz we make the most noise! haha. (Good or Bad You decide) And we always have the most fun times!

Met Charis afterward with Vil. Went to look for Shigeta Sensei cuz one of her(Charis) friends' wanted to go the the Japan Trip in Sept. And Shigeta Sensei kept trying to persuade me to cancel my Taiwan Trip to go to JAPAN! haha. (cuz i got a Z last sem for my Japanese) But i politely declined despite the extreme temptation. Besides, i'd prob have other opportunities to go, though it may not be with the school!

Also did my Public Speaking Presentation Today. FINALLY. I was so relaxed and everything just popped to mind and i presented! WHEE!. I'm really gonna miss T03 Public Speaking Class. Everyone is just so EPIC-ly FUN.

AND. Hung out with the Freshmen DG Girls! OH SO ENERGETIC and HYPER! Haha. I really enjoy every Thursday when I meet them! Seriously!

I CANT WAIT TILL THE HOLIDAYS COME!

Well well.. I better get back to studying before I get distracted to do other things. HAHA!

Anyways, today we had the last LM for the semester, it was fun when i went totally HIGH after dinner. We walked for like 40 mins from the coffee shop to the interchange... (i wonder who convinced us to do that..)

AND, i got an A for both my CB and MR presentation, and a B+ for my MBS Presentation and a B+ overall Course Work Grabe for MBS. HAHA. Looks like i can really make it this time. And i really thank God for that. Anyways, CCP presentation is tomorrow. And so is my public speaking... and CCP test is on FRIDAY. AFter that, im pretty much free for the following week till 25th Aug where I have an MBS paper in the middle of nowhere! hohooho

Caught G.I Joe in the theatre today. Fantastic Movie with great graphics, the coolest technology and an interesting storyline. Besides, whats not to like when Channing Tatum was the main character. (I didn't go to wacth it because of him by the way; only realised he was acting when the show started) And hey, I realy really love the suits and the jets and AHHHHHHHHHH! (leave it to your imagination) It's a real MUST WATCH! The female leads are cool! And the stroyline had an undetected twist in it. I won't spoil it for you, so go catch it in the CINEMAS NOW! These are my favorite characters!

So the saying goes: when you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Uber cliche. Anyways. When it comes to public speaking, somehow everything comes out extremely extremely natural. It's almost as if I had practiced for ages; when in actual fact, it was sort of last minute work. [yep, abit of confession here].

Well, at any rate, i am currently still working through my public speaking slides and getting really distracted; like blogging. But if I had learnt anything at all, i would have to say that confidence is key. Whatever comes will come. I'll just do my best! haha! but i guess i'm really setting a bad example here. Okay right, i am supposed to work hard at preparing for my speech, but i've been so busy studying for tests and sending people off at the airport that I get a little forgetful at times. I was almost wishing that today was a friday of sorts. urgh, but who doesn't right?

I'm really wondering what God has in store for me though. There are a few things being lined up in front of me and im not really sure which one to grab. It's as if i feel like just grabbing the bunch of them till i'm ready, but i'm afraid burn out may be on the way soon. BUT. I guess i really have to leave it to Him don't I? I have so many things I want to do, but the fun thing is that He seems to be merging all those paths into one for me. And for that matter in the case of music, I realise I have been stagnating, no new songs, no inspiration; my mind has just been elsewhere. But I guess doing something I really love is important. I'm gonna keep that in mind.

MUAHAHAHAH. Well. Oh well.

Long Awaited Zoo Photos. June 19th

The Airport Woozy!

Charms, Jess and I sent off Zhennie today. Gonna miss her real bad.
Anyways, Charms and I were both getting pretty high. We started talking about whether u could plug in you lappy or mp3 to charge on the plane, and she insisted that the plane would use too much petrol and we won't be able to get to our destination cuz all the plane goes is all the way down and down!
So we came up with this brilliant solar powered panel that opens up when electricity is needed! or like we just wind-power or get passengers to sqeeze air to power up their electricity! or to get passengers to blow oxygen into their oxygen masks instead of breathing through it! hahaha! it was so epic. I laughed till my sides hurt! and it didn't help that i was totally stuffed with my pasta and coffee!

Anyways one thanksgiving i have:
I THANK GOD FOR TODAY'S PAPER! IT WAS REALLY REALLY GOOD! Everything God helped me study came out exactly as I studied! Awesome no? its just pure GREAT!

There's Always a Reason for Thank You.

Well, as usual, being the untidy me that i've always been, i spent the ENTIRE morning searching for my little orange ez-link card. And because of that i was late for school. Yes I did find it in the end though(:
I always have a reson to give thanks for all God has done for me! This morning when i was running late to the extreme, I met a few friends that i have not seen for awhile! And that in itself is a blessing. And Ms Regina was nice enough to give me a smile even though i ended up missing her class totally! I think Marketing Teachers are the BEST!.
At any rate, i have an MBS presentation later, and i really thank God that i actually understand what is going on! (SERIOUSLY!) In the first place, i don't really understand why we have to present in FULL FORMAL WEAR! And...... URGH.... Nevermind, i'll just give it my best shot!
